The Bakers, down from the mountains ...

"The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In."

Mom's Garden

We decided to try our hand at a Fall garden this year since we had so much fun in the Spring. It is absolutely maintenance free! We are growing pie pumpkins, cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, carrots and peas. We have tons of peppers left over from the earlier garden also.

You're so good to plant again. The garden looks great! Something is wrong with our soil mixture again. We're giving up on the square foot garden and will just plow up some land and plant the old fashioned way next year.
